The privilege of earning the title "Orthodontist" involves more than diagnosing and treating malocclusions or any of the associated clinical problems we face each day. We have the obligation to maintain or exceed a level of professionalism that has earned the status of possibly the most prestigious of the dental disciplines. This lecture will explore several examples of how we can perpetuate our esteemed legacy as we serve as role models for future generations of orthodontists.
